Amsterdam has had a considerable Jewish population for the last several centuries,<\/strong> and the city has always been culturally and historically important<\/strong> for Jews. So it\u2019s perhaps unsurprising that Amsterdam has its own Jewish Quarter, <\/strong>known as the Jodenbuurt, roughly clustered between the Waterlooplein, the Nieuwmarkt, and northern part of the Plantage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
