In the 13th century and beyond, Parisians and visitors to Paris just had to visit a medieval chapel, built in the 1240\u00b4s in the center of Paris. But why? Well, people came (and still come, in droves) to gawk at the Sainte-Chapelle stained glass. Indeed, the stained glass that dominates this Gothic church is so stunning, you\u2019ll feel like you\u2019re in a light show. The 15, 45-foot-tall stained glass windows originally illustrated 1,113 scenes from the Old and New Testaments of the Bible.<\/p>\n\n\n
