Good
We booked this tour based on the description of the types of foods and places we’d see. Unfortunately that’s not the tour we were taken on. We started with Calas (no beignets from cafe du Monde (or at all)), then had gumbo, oysters, bread pudding and muffaletta. Not even half of the items listed in the description. While we did learn about the history of the foods and some general history of NOLA, we did not meet or hear any specifics about the restaurant owners. We also didn’t visit the French market. While the food we had was good, it was absolutely not the experience we signed up for.

Great
Our tour guide, Valerie Bergman, was very personable and knowledgable about the city. The history portion of the tour was well-done. However, she skipped several stops (we did 4 stops with 5 tastings in total) and the tour ended 40 minutes early.
