The key is to establish a home base and take trips from there, especially if you’re traveling with limited time. The capital offers some of the country’s best connections, making it easy to explore both the north and the south. This makes it the perfect hub for your Italian adventure! And enjoying an overnight trip from Rome ensures that you can discover the city itself, while also venturing to other notable regions.
