Excellent
Alicia was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, personable, and offered thoughtful details about how each person could have a comprehensive & unique personalized experience. The history, food, and locations selected were excellent. It was quite a workout (lots of walking), but worth it. Feel like we received a thorough & comprehensive Lisbon cultural experience. Highly recommended!

Excellent
We throughly enjoyed our day in Lisbon! Our guide, Rita, was extremely knowledgeable and made an 8 hour day fly by. We have been on previous walks tours in the past and this tour met their standard of an excellent and enlightening experience. There is of course a lot of walking but we also took a boat tour of the harbor which gives you a nice view of Lisbon as a whole. We always appreciate skipping the lines, and the line for the Monastery and to grab the custard pastries would have taken several hours out of our day without Rita knowing other locals and already having purchased tickets. Loved the tour and would highly recommend. The only snafu occurred when Walks accidentally sent us to the incorrect meeting location but they resolved this by paying for our Uber to the new location, discounting our tour and handled everything to our satisfaction, excellent customer service.

Excellent
Rita was a great guide! This was a long tour however it didn't feel long because of the way she ran it. There were plenty of stops, a boat ride, some food, etc. Rita was such a great guide and an ambassador of Lisbon!

Great
Life knows how to mess with our preconceptions! Sunny Lisbon was pouring down with rain all day so our 8 hour walking tour wasn’t the easiest. On reflection maybe 8 hours felt quite long even as very keen walkers and after a lunch stop. Our guide Alithia was fantastic though and kept us going even through the wettest times. Highlights were the monastery and its beautiful church and visit to a local Mongolian artist who paints with coffee and red wine. Not sure we would do a whole day walking tour again but we certainly won’t forget our Lisbon experience with ‘walks’ ?

Great
This was a LONG tour with lots of walking. It was worth it! Bring water and good walking shoes. We started in the Belem neighborhood, which is quite a ways from central Lisbon. The guide, Alicia, was FANTASTIC. She knew so much about the city and took us everywhere. The Jeronomis (sp)? Monastery was impressive and it was fun to get the pasteis de Belem at the original source. The boat ride before lunch was nice. Servers at the restaurant were great. Alicia worked overtime for us, allow us to go to the world’s oldest bookstore and a lovely little ceramic shop where we met the artists/creators. The day was quite warm, but we were in the shade a lot. We visited several neighborhoods in the very, very hilly Lisbon. This was a great way to get a nice overview of the city. Long but well worth it.
