Met the very knowledgeable and friendly Roquel at designated time and place before commencing 2hr walk thru the Alfama district where she gave a history of fado, the people, art, food and if Lisbon itself.
We tried the cherry liqueur in choc cup (yum), sardine on bread like a tapas before taking in the sights.
We then parted after she'd arranged my booking at a Fado house for a memorable show and delicious meal.

Helena was an amazing guide for us to discover the ins and outs of Mouraria and Alfama! Food experiences were local, informative, and delicious and the Fado show was emotional and memorable. Would recommend to those who are up for some walking around gorgeous Lisbon neighborhoods rewarded with a lovely dinner and show.

This tour was phenomenal. Our guide Cecilia was knowledgeable, kind, and fun. She taught us the history of Fado music and showed us around Alfama. We enjoyed a wine tasting with a sardine snack, followed by a taste of homemade ginjinha! The highlight of the tour was the Fado show! We watched the show while being served a delicious dinner, wine, and dessert! This tour is an absolute must when visiting Lisboa!

Helena was a very welcoming and knowledgeable guide! I was the only one who signed up for the Tuesday night tour, but she said they’ll run the tour even if just one person signs up. I was thankful for that! It was a different experience than I expected because it was just the two of us, but Helena made me feel very comfortable. I learned so much Lisbon and Fado history that I wouldn’t have gotten on my own, and the food/Fado was so good!

What a wonderful cultural experience to have. BRAVO devour tours, you did it again! will be using again soon!... until then, hasta luego!
The Fado tour was brilliant. It started with some cultural and historical aspects walking around neighbourhoods. Then we had dinner at a Fado House and heard some music.
I am so glad that we booked this tour! Worth every penny. The fado experience was way more than we expected and we felt so honored to be able to experience it. Thank you to Raquel for being the best guide ever!!
