Amazing tour, very insightful with a lot of similarities to the birth of a lot of popular music in the United States. Food was exceptional and the Fado at the end was phenomenal! My advice, bring your walking shoes and make sure to ask for Raquel! She made every step worth it. Great way to celebrate my birthday.

Met the very knowledgeable and friendly Roquel at designated time and place before commencing 2hr walk thru the Alfama district where she gave a history of fado, the people, art, food and if Lisbon itself.
We tried the cherry liqueur in choc cup (yum), sardine on bread like a tapas before taking in the sights.
We then parted after she'd arranged my booking at a Fado house for a memorable show and delicious meal.

This tour was phenomenal. Our guide Cecilia was knowledgeable, kind, and fun. She taught us the history of Fado music and showed us around Alfama. We enjoyed a wine tasting with a sardine snack, followed by a taste of homemade ginjinha! The highlight of the tour was the Fado show! We watched the show while being served a delicious dinner, wine, and dessert! This tour is an absolute must when visiting Lisboa!
