Anne was an excellent guide for our Nov 2023 food tour of London's historic pubs. The 1st pub we visited was established in 1526, and though the subsequent pubs gradually got "younger," none was newer than the 1800s. The pubs were tucked away down tiny alleys, and I'm sure we would've never found them ourselves. Anne explained the significance of each pub, and it's neighborhood, keeping us interested and engaged the entire time. The food is indicative of what might have been served when that pub was established, so bring your adventurous spirit. We didn't find all the food options tasty, but we did enjoy learning about them just the same. Anne also worked really hard to accommodate some vegetarians in our group who had signed up late so their options were not ordered ahead of time. I know they greatly appreciated her efforts. If you want to see a really different part of London history, and enjoy a fun group atmosphere, this is great tour to do so!
