This was a great experience! We visited four different historic pubs in the oldest part of London. Our tour guide Becki was delightful, and took great care of us.
She shared interesting and informative stories as we walked between pubs that introduced us to the history and character of the neighborhood. I didn't expect to get such great stories and a sense of the role of the pub in London.
The food was traditional "pub snacks" and was tasty. It may vary but we had pork pie, fish and chips, whitetail, and as scotch eggs. They were paired with the beer at each stop (ales, stout, cider). One of us didn't drink, but still really enjoyed the experience.
We wanted to learn about British pubs and try something new. This tour with Becki was even better than we expected!
