This was one of the best tours we did on our recent trip. Go early! That is the best way to see this remarkable historical landmark! Our tour guide was extraordinary! Her knowledge of the history and talent to share with such enthusiasm made for the best tour ever! One very important detail: the size of the group was perfection: 6 people! We learned so much about British history that it made other things we did really "click" into place the rest of our adventure.
There are a few staircases that are a bit challenging in these very old buildings. The views are not to be missed.
Guests really get the sense of the remarkable history of the British Crown.
