We signed up for the small group tour and it turned out to be a personal tour (no other attendees other than my wife). Our guide was excellent, providing us with a lot of history and insight throughout our walking tour between the main attractions.

Our tour of The Last Summer and the Duomo was guided by Mirella. I doubt there is a better guide. Mirella was super informed annd engaging about everything we saw at the main sights and the walk in between. We had a great time with her.

The tour was recommended by a friend who took it two months before. This was truly a great experience. The group was well organized and I received clear directions on the meeting point. Once I arrived, the crew were prepared with all the necessary information on the guests, tickets, ear pieces, and identifier stickers. Then the tour guide was a historian! She was knowledgeable and a superb story teller, and gave a lot of great information while keeping the group engaged and entertained. The information was not just about dates but historical context too. What I thought would be a lengthy tour ended up feeling short and wanting to keep it going! I strongly recommend it.

Our guide’s commentary BOTH before AND after the actual 15 minutes inside with the “Last Supper” were excellent, and she answered all of our questions patiently and thoughtfully. She could be clearly understood throughout our tour—from Leonardo’s inspiring fresco to the beautiful Duomo, where she highlighted with enthusiasm and detail many significant parts (holy and secular) in that magnificent institution. My only concern was too much information along the walk between the two masterpieces without enough time to process. I recommend her highly and would rebook her.

Can I take food/drink and a backpack with me into The Last Supper?
No food or drinks (including water bottles) can be brought inside and will be disposed of before entry. Only small handbags are permitted, but backpacks are not allowed. We kindly ask you to plan accordingly to ensure a smooth visit.
Do I need to bring my ID?
You must provide first and last name for every guests in your party at the time of booking. All guests must also bring ID on the day of their tour.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
No. Unfortunately, due to site restrictions we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. Guests should be prepared for a moderate level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods and climbing stairs, which may not be suitable for travelers with certain health conditions or mobility limitations.
What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
Is there a dress code for visiting The Last Supper?
Yes. *The Last Supper* is held inside an active convent and, as such, it's required that all visitors cover their knees and shoulders during their visit.
