Our tour begins by examining some of the most fascinating stats about the park itself, including how many playgrounds it’s home to plus the distance its benches would reach should they all be placed side-by-side.

The history of Central Park is as intriguing as the place itself - we’ll explore how it became the focal point of leisure and life in the Big Apple as we wind our way through some of its most iconic areas.

Stopping at the iconic Gapstow Bridge, we’ll soak up the best views of the park and the city skyline beyond, before strolling down the tree-lined Literary Walk. We’ll discuss the stories behind the Alice in Wonderland and Hans Christian Andersen Statues, and visit some of the spots frequently featured on TV and film.

No doubt there’ll be a photo or two taken of the beautiful Bethesda Fountain before we bask in the romantic atmosphere surrounding one of the most popular ‘engagement’ spots in the world (just let us know beforehand if you plan to pop the question).

Following our guided tour, you can hop on one of the rental bikes (the cost of which is included in your tour) for a further hour-long exploration of the park at your own leisure.

From sights of cultural importance to scenic backdrops for photos, this is a great way for visitors and city-dwellers alike to get to know every nook and cranny of America’s most-visited urban park.
