Really just an overview of what the Met has to offer. After the tour you can go back and see things in more depth. It includes an all day ticket so staying until closing is a bonus
But please be on time ( which is 15 minutes prior to the tour starting). Of the 15 people who purchased the tour 6 people for 11am. Tour showed up 15 min late. We all waited while tickets were purchased for them so we all started 15 min late which made our tour 15 minutes shorter. The same 6 left the tour without telling the guide. Our guide was very knowledgeable.
