Excellent
Antoine was a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. We enjoyed what he had to offer. I felt a little disappointed that we did not get to go inside Notre Dame Cathedral. Over all the tour was great! Maybe a little too long.

Lilya was our wonderful tour guide on the walking tour of Paris. We met at the Anvers Metro stop before making our way to Montmarte and the breathtaking views of the surrounding area. We toured the neighborhood before heading to the café where we had the best hot chocolate and tartine. The pace of the tour is perfect, with enough rest stops to recharge before seeing yet another beautiful site. From there we made our way to the Latin Quarter for more sightseeing and lunch before heading off to the Louvre, where we got to see some of the world’s most popular masterpieces. Then it was on to the Eiffel Tower. From there my group hopped on the river tour of the Seine to end the fabulous day of sightseeing. Lilya is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We learned so much about the history, notable figures, unique facts and the art of each area we visited. Our group of four experienced travelers enjoyed every step of this incredible and interesting walking tour, which included some rides on the Metro. After Lilya’s tour, we were confident enough using the Metro that it became our primary mode of transportation throughout Paris for the remainder of our stay in this beautiful city. Highly recommend this tour!

This was a great tour. It was our first time in Paris and we only had a day and a half. We never would have been able to see as much on our own. Be prepared to do a LOT of walking but our guide did a great job of giving us breaks when needed.

What can I bring inside the Louvre Museums?
Please note that the Louvre will not allow large items inside the museum, so you should bring only a small daypack or handbag. More specifically, only bags smaller than 21.5 in x 13.5 in x 7.5 in (55 cm x 35 cm x 20) cm are permitted. Suitcases and large bags must be left outside. Closed, clear bottles of water are allowed inside the Louvre however food is forbidden inside the site. Please be advised that the use of selfie sticks and flash photography is not allowed inside the Louvre. Additional security checks may cause longer waits at unavoidable security lines at times.
If the Louvre is closed, what will I see instead?
On Tuesdays, due to the Louvre being closed, you will visit the Orsay Museum instead. The Orsay Museum is home to the largest collection of Impressionist paintings, including famous works by Van Gogh, Monet, and more.
