Walks is the best! We booked a walks tour for London, Paris and Rome. All have been perfect. The guides were amazing and knowledgeable. The meeting locations were clear and easy to find.

Awesome experience! Our guide Daniel was very knowledgeable and accommodating, especially considering the very hot weather. We look forward to another trip with Walks!

I only had a day to see Paris and took this tour. Great experience, Violette is a great Tour Guide, The walk is easy with stops every two hours. A very good way of see the highlights of Paris in only one day. Highly Recomended.

This tour was overall amazing, but the highlight had to have been our tour guide Violette. She made the experience as enjoyable as it was. She gave just the right amount of details about the history of things, mixed in with her personal experiences, and stories of previous tours. The sights were all beautiful and even though it was a long day it was 100% worth it!!

This tour was exactly what we wanted in the short time we had in Paris. I would not describe this as "moderate" due to all the stairs required and the uneven cobblestone streets as well as the hills in the city. Our tour guide wass aamazing and told us stories about artists and areas along the way.

FAQs

What can I bring inside the Louvre Museums?
Please note that the Louvre will not allow large items inside the museum, so you should bring only a small daypack or handbag. More specifically, only bags smaller than 21.5 in x 13.5 in x 7.5 in (55 cm x 35 cm x 20) cm are permitted. Suitcases and large bags must be left outside. Closed, clear bottles of water are allowed inside the Louvre however food is forbidden inside the site. Please be advised that the use of selfie sticks and flash photography is not allowed inside the Louvre. Additional security checks may cause longer waits at unavoidable security lines at times.
When we're on the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower, can I buy tickets to access the top of the tower.
Unfortunately, no. If you want to buy tickets to the top of the tower you have to return to the bottom, wait in line, then buy your ticket to the top. They cost €25.00 each.
Can you guarantee that I will see every room in the Louvre listed here?
We can't guarantee it, but it's very likely. As with all museums, particular galleries of the Louvre may be closed without prior notice, or pieces may be removed for restoration or loan. In this case, your guide will make an appropriate substitution. However, as the pieces and the rooms we visit on our tour are the most important in the museum, these are the ones least likely to close or leave on loan.
Can I bring a stroller on this trip with me?
Yes, but please be aware that not every metro station that we use has working elevators. If you bring a stroller for your child you will have to carry it up some stairs.
Do I need to bring an ID with me on this tour?
Yes! Please ensure that all members of your party have a valid ID on them on the day of the visit. This is particularly important for guests who have qualified for a student discount.
Is the Eiffel Tower always included on this tour?
The Eiffel tower is open almost every day of the year, but it often closes on Bastille Day (July 14th) in order to set up for the annual fireworks display above the tower. Some years preparations begin on the afternoon of the 13th. If you are planning to visit the Tower around Bastille Day, please contact our customer services team to check on the hours of closure for the Tower.
