This Paris city tour begins on the funicular up to Montmartre. One of the most beloved monuments in Montmartre is based on a popular short story by Marcel Ayme feating a man who can walk through walls. Paris' Sacre Coeur Basilica.Inside the Sacre Coeur Basilica in MontmartreThe view from in front of the Sacre-coeur is one of the best in Paris. Montmartre is home to many classic Parisian cafes. Montmartre was once home to some of the most renowned artists in the 20th century. Today it still holds that heritage close to its heart. A vineyard in the middle of a city? Only in Paris. Montmartre still has a working vineyard, a throwback to its rural heritage. The windmills of Montmartre are one of the most iconic sites in the neighborhood, but these days they're mostly for show. The cobbled streets of Montmartre are the perfect setting for the first part of this Paris city tour. The facade of Notre Dame is one of the most iconic sights in Central Paris. Notre Dame contains some surprisingly intimate spaces. Notre Dame's towering groin vaults are one of the most jaw dropping expressions of gothic architecture in the world. The Louvre is a sure highlight of your Paris city tourWatching the sunset over the Seine on a river cruise. The' Mona Lisa' is smaller than you think she isGericault's 'Raft of the Medusa' is one of the most striking works on any Louvre highlights tour. The view of the Eiffel Tower from Trocadero Plaza on our Paris In A Day TourThere is always a festival atmosphere around the Eiffel Tower. The views from the second level of the Eiffel Tower are the perfect way to end this Paris city tour. The view towards Montparnasse from the Eiffel Tower. It's hard to grasp the immensity of the Eiffel Tower until you stand beneath it. Remember the Sacre Coeur? You see it from a whole different perspective at the end of this Paris City Tour. The Eiffel Tower seen from the Seine is a moving experience.

Wow this is definitely a must when in paris. All the highlights, skip the lines all in one day. Even though we were in Paris for a week I really wanted to see all the highlights in a day so we could use the rest of our time to explore the city and museums at our leisure. The skip the lines at each tourist attraction saved hours of time. Our guide Alberto was excellent, very friendly, informative, and knowledgeable. Very long day, lots of walking, but I would highly recommend this tour!

FAQ

What can I bring inside the Louvre Museums?
Please note that the Louvre will not allow large items inside the museum, so you should bring only a small daypack or handbag. More specifically, only bags smaller than 21.5 in x 13.5 in x 7.5 in (55 cm x 35 cm x 20) cm are permitted. Suitcases and large bags must be left outside. Closed, clear bottles of water are allowed inside the Louvre however food is forbidden inside the site. Please be advised that the use of selfie sticks and flash photography is not allowed inside the Louvre. Additional security checks may cause longer waits at unavoidable security lines at times.
When we're on the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower, can I buy tickets to access the top of the tower.
Unfortunately, no. If you want to buy tickets to the top of the tower you have to return to the bottom, wait in line, then buy your ticket to the top. They cost €25.00 each.
Can you guarantee that I will see every room in the Louvre listed here?
We can't guarantee it, but it's very likely. As with all museums, particular galleries of the Louvre may be closed without prior notice, or pieces may be removed for restoration or loan. In this case, your guide will make an appropriate substitution. However, as the pieces and the rooms we visit on our tour are the most important in the museum, these are the ones least likely to close or leave on loan.
Can I bring a stroller on this trip with me?
Yes, but please be aware that not every metro station that we use has working elevators. If you bring a stroller for your child you will have to carry it up some stairs.
Do I need to bring an ID with me on this tour?
Yes! Please ensure that all members of your party have a valid ID on them on the day of the visit. This is particularly important for guests who have qualified for a student discount.
Is the Eiffel Tower always included on this tour?
The Eiffel tower is open almost every day of the year, but it often closes on Bastille Day (July 14th) in order to set up for the annual fireworks display above the tower. Some years preparations begin on the afternoon of the 13th. If you are planning to visit the Tower around Bastille Day, please contact our customer services team to check on the hours of closure for the Tower.
