Our tour guide, Adam, showed in depth the progression in art from classicism to Impressionism and Monet’s use of color and light, focusing on representative paintings. He gave us a greater appreciation of the art of Manet, Monet, Renoir and Van Gogh.

This was my first time at Musee d'Orsay and I loved our tour. We only had a few hours and wanted to get as much out of our visit as possible and Claire did not disappoint! She was able to put the artwork in historical context so you not only learned a little about the artists' techniques but you also got an understanding of how they were pushing the envelope on the subject matter. Even though the tour group was relatively large and the museum crowded, Claire was an expert in guiding us throughout the rooms and making space for us. This is also my favorite time period for art and so the overall tour was a great experience.

Wat een informatieve en leuke rondleiding. Onze gids Laurence (sp? ) was enthousiast en zeer deskundig! Ze begeleidde ons door het gebouw en legde de voortgang van de collectie en de kunstenaars met gemak uit. Ze was fantastisch. We zouden deze tour (en Laurence) aanraden aan iedereen die vraagt.
