Welcome to the Pantheon! Each of these columns is hewn from a single hunk of stone. The Pantheon actually sits below street level because the city has grown up around it. It's nearly impossible to take your eyes off the Dome of the Pantheon. The only place more impressive on the Welcome Tour than the outside of the Pantheon is the inside. The lovely Piazza NavonaBernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers is the subject of a lot of history and loreEach character on the fountain represents a different river. Walks guides always travel with visual aids to show you the sights from another angle. A guide gives hints and tips for getting around RomeRome's iconic Trevi fountain. The Trevi Fountain is one of the most iconic sights in Rome. There is plenty of time for pictures on the Welcome Tour. Roman gelatoYou can't got wrong with a ice-cold Italian gelato. The Fontana della Barcaccia was one of Bernini's first works and is still one of Rome's favorite fountains. The view from the top of the Spanish Steps.Learning to use a Roman fountain is a key insider tip to traveling in Rome.

What a great way to orient yourself on your first day in Rome. The walking tour was fantastic and the guide was so knowledgable.

Can I use a wheelchair on this tour?
Yes! However please be aware that guides can not push wheelchairs so do ensure that you can operate your own chair or have someone to operate it for you.
What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
Does this tour have a dress code?
Yes! The Pantheon is a church so you need to cover your shoulders and to your knees before you enter. It is sufficient to bring a covering like a sweater or sarong with you for just this section of the tour.
