Our guide for the day, Chiara, was an absolute gem! She has such lovely energy and is so fun and kind. I had such a special day with her and the rest of the group thoroughly enjoying the best Tuscany has to offer. From a great tuscan lunch, to a small town visit, I feel like we did so much in one day. Highly recommend!

The tour was great!! The cheese/olive oil tasting, lunch, and wine tasting were fantastic. Expect a long day because the bus ride is around 3 hours each way!!

We spent a holiday in Rome and had a day tour to Tuscany. This was our favourite tour. The Tour Guide, Andrea, was the best tour guide we experienced on our travels. He was very knowledgeable of the areas visited and very sociable for the group of tourists from around the world.

I don't even know where to begin, our overall experience with Walks and this Tuscany Tour from Rome was absolutely wonderful from the beginning. We were suppose to take a tour of the Roman Colosseum back in 2020 and had to cancel due to Covid. Walks customer service were so understanding and made cancelling our original tour a very easy and smooth transaction. Instead of receiving a full refund, I chose to accept Walks offer of receiving a credit for 150% that had no expiration. I am so happy I did this. It enabled me and my family to take this amazing tour of Tuscany Hilltowns, Castles & Vineyards from Rome. We were suppose to take the tour on our first full day in Italy, but it was cancelled due to tour guide being ill. However, they were able to reschedule the tour for us on our last day in Rome. We got lucky and ended up being the only 4 people on the tour with Mattia as our tour guide. We hit the jackpot! Mattia was the best part of our tour! He was so nice and so friendly and knowledgeable. The best tour guide! Every stop we made, everyone loved him and knew him. So genuine he really made our tour special and memorable. He shared stories and history about all the beautiful places we saw. Pienza was a beautiful little Tuscan town and we loved all the speciality shops we stopped in from the ceramic shop to the artisan cheeses and salami store. The views from the Montalcino Castle were unlike anything I've ever seen. One of my favorite parts was Podere Spedalone the farm/agriturismo we stopped at for an authentic Tuscan lunch! Alessandro and his entire staff were so friendly and amazing. They gave us a tour of the wine cellar, let us come into their kitchen to see the entire pig they were preparing for the next day, gave us a tour. It was absolutely fabulous! I highly recommend this tour, worth every penny and was a great way to end our time in Rome! Thank you Walks and thank you Mattia!!!

My husband and I signed up for a tour of Tuscany. It went very well The meeting place was easy to get to and the people guiding the tour were organized. We were on our way out of Rome with a great guide who gave us an overview of the day ahead and talked about points of interest until we got on the main highway. The bus was comfortable and stopped about an hour after driving to let us stretch out legs and use the bathroom. We had several stops, first at a town famous for its cathedral, we visited a shop that made cheese and meats, and were given time to tour the town. Lunch at a Tuscan farm was delicious and fun especially because of our guide and the owner of the farm kept the conversation going about soccer, wine, the farm and local history in Tuscany. We ended with a winery tour and tasting of excellent red wines. The driver and tour guide had us back in Rome at exactly 8 pm. This tour required us to get on and off the bus, walk short distances on cobbled streets and unpaved areas, but it was fairly easy and appropriate for us. This tour allowed us to see the country side that is very different than the city and southern regions. Tuscany is beautiful and the tour made me want to return for a longer visit.
