I absolutely loved the tour and the experience of being at the Alcazar before the crowds got there and before it got too hot. Raquel, our tour guide was an expert and a wonderful tour guide. She was very knowledgeable. The tour would have benefited from more detailed history like information about the construction materials of the original Islamic architecture vs. Mudejar style, the names of the Muslim kings and detailed history before the destruction of the original palaces by the Catholic monarchs. Also some details about how colonization of the new world impacted these spaces or their architecture (for example, were materials from those places used) would have been very helpful!

An Unforgettable Experience – A Must-See in Seville!
Visiting the Royal Alcázar was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Seville. The palace is breathtaking — every room and courtyard tells a different story, from intricate Moorish architecture to beautifully manicured gardens that seem to go on forever. It’s a place where history and beauty collide in the most magical way.
What made our visit even more special was our incredible host/guide, who brought the entire experience to life. Their passion for the history of the Alcázar, attention to detail, and engaging storytelling made us feel like we were stepping back in time. They navigated us through the highlights while also pointing out hidden gems we would’ve easily missed on our own.
