Excellent
The tour was amazing, the St Marc Basilica was stunning. It was gorgeous to sit back and watch the place lights up. A totally unique experience. Our guide Gulia was great, she was easy to understand and spoke with passion.

I booked this night tour because my son has cochlear implants and I thought it would be less noisy and a better tour for him. We had a little bad luck. There was a hard rock concert in St Mark’s Square during the tour. This made 1/3 of the tour impossible for my son or even me (hearing aids) to hear. However, when we were inside, away from the entrance, it was the best tour. My son was able to hear and loved it. Plus, the man setting up the hearing pieces got a special one that put sound onto the cochlear microphone. Valentina’s tour was fascinating. She was so friendly too. I highly recommend this tour for people with hearing problems, but you should search St Mark’s square concerts before you book.

This tour was well worth the investment. I toured the Basilica several years ago and this was a much better experience. Roberta was very enthusiastic and shared a lot of information. She was very easy for us to understand even though English was her second language.

Touring St Mark's at night with small groups was magical. Our tour guide, Iole, was such a great storyteller which enhanced the experience even more. Highly recommended!

Exclusive Alone In St. Mark's Basilica After Hours
Can I take a bag with me into St. Mark's Basilica?
You can only take small bags into St. Mark's. Anything bigger than a purse - backpacks or luggage - is prohibited. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any large bags with you.
Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
Can I use a wheelchair on this tour?
Yes, but we require advance notice in order to accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. After booking, please contact us so that we can organize a private tour for you. If we cannot find a guide to lead you that day we'll offer you the same tour on the next available date or give you credit for another tour anywhere else in the world.
What can I bring with me on this tour?
St. Mark's Basilica has very tight rules about what you can and cannot bring inside. Anything bigger than a purse - including backpacks or luggage - is NOT allowed inside the Basilica. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any bags larger than a purse with you.
