This tour exceeded my expectations. As the Head of National Accounts at Venture Ashore for North America, I am very proud to have Walks included in our offerings. The tour guide, I believe his name was Maurizio, could not have been better. His knowledge was immense and his passion was infectious. Joe Miller

We had Elizabeth as our tour guide. She was very insightful and made the entire tour of St. Mark’s Basilica very interesting.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide was kind and knowledgable. The tour didn't last too long which is a plus for us. We saw the highlights, but didn't have to suffer the crazy crowds and suffocating heat of the day.

We have taken numerous tours with Walks. All wonderful! This tour is a perfect length and gives you a unique experience with a small group. Highly recommend!!!

The tour was very interesting. Iole, our tour guide was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and fun. The tour was very organized but there was still a crowd to deal with. At the beginning of the tour there was a big crowd, so we spent very little time seeing the entrance, but Iole did a great job making it possible for our group to spend a good deal of time inside the church. This tour was totally worth taking. I cannot imagine managing viewing this exquisite site without taking a night tour.

What can I bring with me on this tour?
St. Mark's Basilica has very tight rules about what you can and cannot bring inside. Anything bigger than a purse - including backpacks or luggage - is NOT allowed inside the Basilica. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any bags larger than a purse with you.
Can I take a bag with me into St. Mark's Basilica?
You can only take small bags into St. Mark's. Anything bigger than a purse - backpacks or luggage - is prohibited. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any large bags with you.
Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
