The "Exclusive Alone In St. Mark's & Doge's Palace Tour" was the highlight of our stay in Venice. The interior of the Doge's Palace is visually breathtaking, but the visual imagery would have been meaningless without the knowledge imparted to us by our expert guide, Niko. He was marvelous and passionate in his presentation. After an hour break, the tour proceeds inside St. Mark's. As we entered, Niko provided historical background. The group (approx. 20 outfitted with Bluetooth headsets) then Sat on pews in the dark. Suddenly, the lights were gradually turned on to reveal the majesty of the interior. Our group was the only one inside! Alone! This was the most impactful experience of our visit to Venice, and I highly recommend this tour. Niko made it happen for us. He was truly amazing!
