Excellent
Our guide, Francesca, is a local and her love for Venice was evident throughout the tour. We saw Venice from the waterline and gained perspective on this city of islands. Highly recommend!

Great
We thoroughly enjoyed our Venice Boat Tour with Francesca B.! We were expecting a bigger boat, not just a water taxi, but in the end it didn’t matter a bit. Francesca was lovely, so warm and bubbly, and told us so much about Venice. What a treat to go inside the cathedral and take pictures on top of the bell tower. Can’t wait to visit again!

Excellent
This may have been the best tour we did during our entire trip to Italy. Both teenagers were engaged and really enjoyed it from start to end. The guide was perfect - funny, interesting, and as my 13 year old said, “not boring like museum guides.” Great for families and the boat ride and views were unlike no other! Strong recommend.

Excellent
Best tour of our Italy trip. Our guide was outstanding - very informative, answered all random questions and even gave lunch suggestions. Boat tour was the best way to see so much of Venice without a zillion steps!

FAQs

Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
No. Unfortunately, due to site restrictions we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. If you use a wheelchair and book this tour by accident, we are happy to offer you credit for a future tour that is wheelchair accessible anywhere in the world, or a full refund.
What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
How many passengers can fit on the boat?
The boat we use for our private tour has a maximum capacity of 9 people. If you want to take the tour but have more people in your party please call us or write to [email protected]. Small Children 5 years of age and under do not count in the 9 person maximum.
Is the bell tower climb always included in the tour?
Very occasionally San Giorgio Maggiore closes access to its bell tower due to liturgical celebrations and they aren't in the habit of giving us much advanced notice. If this happens on the day of your visit we will stop off on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore to enjoy the view from the island but will not be able to climb the bell tower.
Can the boat accommodate wheelchair users?
No. Unfortunately, the boat is not equipped to safely service wheelchair users.
