Great
Disappointed that the Tower was closed (no fault of Walks) but our tour guide was outstanding - great positive, infectious personality with a tremendous amount of information. Small group (6) was also a huge plus compared to other tours.

Great
Despite the weather and acqualta which prevented us from doing some parts of the tour, we had a fabulous time. Daria our guide was wonderful, so knowledgeable and clearly a local who loves her city, one of the best tour guides we have ever had. I was with my 87-year old, not very mobile, mother and Adriano the pilot was amazing with her, helping her into and off the boat. If you dont have much time and really want to see the main sites of the city I highly recommend this tour.

Excellent
This was the highlight of our time in Venice, we only had two days in the city before getting on a cruise. Venice was meant to be seen / navigated by boat and we loved every minute of this tour. We saw so many things we would have never seen if we were walking on foot. A very memorable experience and our juice, Jennifer was very knowledgeable and was a wonderful ambassador for the city of Venice. Dont think about it any more, book this experience now!!

FAQs

What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
No. Unfortunately, due to site restrictions we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. If you use a wheelchair and book this tour by accident, we are happy to offer you credit for a future tour that is wheelchair accessible anywhere in the world, or a full refund.
How many passengers can fit on the boat?
The boat we use for our private tour has a maximum capacity of 9 people. If you want to take the tour but have more people in your party please call us or write to [email protected]. Small Children 5 years of age and under do not count in the 9 person maximum.
Is the bell tower climb always included in the tour?
Very occasionally San Giorgio Maggiore closes access to its bell tower due to liturgical celebrations and they aren't in the habit of giving us much advanced notice. If this happens on the day of your visit we will stop off on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore to enjoy the view from the island but will not be able to climb the bell tower.
Can the boat accommodate wheelchair users?
No. Unfortunately, the boat is not equipped to safely service wheelchair users.
