Great
Giovanna was a terrific guide - she is a Venetian who truly understands her beautiful city and its history. The only negative of the tour was the audio equipment (did not function well so we had difficulty hearing her at times). It would be better to have audio equipment that goes in each ear (like we had for an earlier tour). Especially being on a boat it would have been better to use ear buds. The only other thing to point out is the description of the tour mentions a visit to The Bridge of Sighs. We did not do this so after the tour we just walked over there to take photos.

What an incredible way to see Venice. This tour takes you around the city in a beautiful private boat and to see Venice from on high. After many visits to the city this tour was a highlight I'll remember forever

I had the most wonderful tour. I was the only person, so I got a 1:1 tour of San Giorgio, the bell tower and the canals. I learned to much and now have a whole new appreciation for Venice and its history. I cannot thank you enough for this tour. Thank you

FAQs

Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
No. Unfortunately, due to site restrictions we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. If you use a wheelchair and book this tour by accident, we are happy to offer you credit for a future tour that is wheelchair accessible anywhere in the world, or a full refund.
What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
How many passengers can fit on the boat?
The boat we use for our private tour has a maximum capacity of 9 people. If you want to take the tour but have more people in your party please call us or write to [email protected] Small Children 5 years of age and under do not count in the 9 person maximum.
Is the bell tower climb always included in the tour?
Very occasionally San Giorgio Maggiore closes access to its bell tower due to liturgical celebrations and they aren't in the habit of giving us much advanced notice. If this happens on the day of your visit we will stop off on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore to enjoy the view from the island but will not be able to climb the bell tower.
Can the boat accommodate wheelchair users?
No. Unfortunately, the boat is not equipped to safely service wheelchair users.
