Great
We really enjoyed our tour with Barbara. She was a wealth of information and answered so many of our questions about life in Venice (we had been walking around trying to figure out how things worked on such a tiny island with very old infrastructure, and she was gracious enough to answer all our random questions.) The food itself offered a nice mix of items - both food and drinks. There were a few items we were surprised to not see on the tour - typical cicchetti for one, gelato for another - but we felt the things we did try provided a nice overview of typical Venetian foods. We learned a lot, got some great recommendations, and were positively stuffed by the end of the tour. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to others visiting Venice.

Excellent
We have taken many food tours and this was the best. Jennifer guided us through narrow passageways of Venice, taking us to quaint, local eateries to introduce us to traditional Venetian delights popular with the locals. The food was generous and delicious, basically several small meals. We were given a full glass of spritz.... in real glass. Jennifer was engaging, knowledgeable, and just delightful. She talked about history and traditions in a fun and relevant context to the food we were eating. She took us to street food places that have been there for 50 years and others that are new and focused on sustaining the environment. It was one of the best tours we have even taken. One suggestion: Do not eat breakfast before the tour, maybe even skip dinner the night before.
