Excellent
This Tour is 3 hrs long inc Basicallla Church. Even though the Guide Nico was so funny & professional at the same time, he gave enough information about the history . Highlight for me , relaxing 20 min Gondola ride

Excellent
Absolutely recommended experience. The walking tour around the centre of Venice and then into the Basilica was very informative and entertaining to close the whole activity with a 30 mins adventure on a Gondola ride. If you don't have much time and would like to know about the important bits of this historical city, then this is for you.

Excellent
This was a great overview tour especially if you only have a short time in Venice. Got to see and hear about some of the small history and back alleys and got to see some of the major sites and it was great to finish with a Gondola ride. Our guide Marco was entertaining the entire walk and had quite a sense of humor along with his knowledge of the city.

Excellent
Very knowledgable and friendly tour guide who gave us a detailed overview of the history of Venice - we would definitely recommend doing this on Day One. We also loved the gondola ride at the end of the walking tour!

Great
We thought the tour was excellent. 3 hours was just the right length of time for us. Our guide Susan was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. It was great to avoid the queue at the Basilica and we loved the gondola ride. As it was our first visit to Venice this tour helped us to get our bearings and enjoy the City.

FAQs

Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
No. Unfortunately, due to site restrictions we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. If you use a wheelchair and book this tour by accident, we are happy to offer you credit for a future tour that is wheelchair accessible anywhere in the world, or a full refund.
Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
Does this tour always visit the Rialto Market?
The Rialto Market is closed on Mondays. If you take the tour on a Monday we will still visit Rialto but you won't see as much activity around the market.
Can I take a bag with me into St. Mark's Basilica?
You can only take small bags into St. Mark's. Anything bigger than a purse - backpacks or luggage - is prohibited. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any large bags with you.
Does my guide accompany me on the gondola ride?
No. During your gondola ride you will be alone with maximum 5 other people and your Venetian gondoliere. This experience is much better as quiet time. Just sit back, relax and soak up the beauty of the city's canals.
Can I take a gondola ride if I use a wheelchair?
No. Unfortunately, gondolas are not wheelchair accessbile.
