Our tapas tour with Ariana was absolutely fantastic. She was the best guide imaginable — incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and a true storyteller. Ariana not only explained the history behind each dish but also helped us understand the why behind the food and its place in Spanish culture. She had a wonderful way of making everything easy to follow and fun, and she even drew thoughtful comparisons between American and Spanish traditions, which made the experience that much more meaningful. Ariana also went above and beyond by giving us a personalized list of restaurant, bar, and activity recommendations to enjoy after the tour. The tour itself was amazing — we visited a great variety of locations, each with its own character and deep connection to the history of traditional tapas. It was the perfect mix of food, culture, and storytelling. We can’t recommend Ariana and this tour enough!

The Barcelona Gothic Quarter Tapas & Taverns Food & Wine Tour with Luke was exceptional. Luke’s passion for the city and its culinary traditions was infectious, and his deep knowledge of the Gothic Quarter’s history and local gastronomy added rich layers to every stop. From its Roman roots to the moment Columbus returned from the New World, Luke brought the past to life with vivid storytelling. We were lucky to have a fantastic group of fellow travelers—curious, friendly, and eager to share the experience. The camaraderie made each tasting even more enjoyable, whether we were sipping vermouth in a tucked-away tavern or savoring jamón ibérico in a centuries-old square. Luke’s ability to weave historical insight with culinary discovery made this more than just a food tour—it was a cultural immersion.
