We had such a lovely time with Hector. He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. We learned so much about the city in an easy, fun way. He prioritized family run businesses and the food was simply amazing. I am gluten free which he easily accommodated. My 19 year old also loved it which is a big win :)

What a fun and delicious experience! Our guide Hector took us to so many businesses run for generations by the same family and pointed out many more. We tasted so many amazing foods and drinks including pan con tomate, tortilla, toast with chocolate and olive oil, Bomba, nougat, horchata, olives, cured meats, cheese, juicy cherries, seafood paella, cava, vermout and wine. We went to his local Market, where family-run stalls showcased interesting local produce. Exploring El Born and La Barceloneta added rich history to this culinary adventure. Hector and the purveyors were very accommodating with food allergies and preferences. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves good food!
