Hector was excellent tour guide: friendly, funny & informative! He took good care of our group and any special requests. We learned a lot about the food but also about history, which was very interesting. The good we tasted were delicious and Mercat de Santa Caterina and the other restaurants were very atmospheric and delightful to visit. The amount of walking between the location was not too much, but yet gave nice little break between the tasting. I took part in this tour with my daughter (12yrs), who said this was the highlight of her trip to Barcelona.

James was the BEST tour guide for this food tour. He is a former chef and as such, has tremendous knowledge about all of the foods in the markets and in the restaurants. His passion and knowledge of the history of the area was unsurpassed. He made the tour by his storytelling abilities and his love for the city of Barcelona and it's people. He is a true foodie and we learned so much from his vast knowledge. He was fun and engaging and truly made our experience a perfect one. Thank you James.
