Ariana was a very good guide--enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She introduced us to a selection of native foods, along with anecdotes about each. Fun way to spend three hours!

Jordi was knowledgeable and friendly, he was able to answer our questions. Food was all very good, a lot to eat, don’t eat beforehand.

Feliciano was SO AMAZING! He was so enthusiastic and knew so much about the history of the area. He had a witty sense of humor and made everything so interesting. The restaurants we visited had been operating for many years for good reason...the food and wine was so delicious.
A fantastic way to get a feel for Barcelona. It was so insightful and Alex our tour guide’s enthusiasm for the local produce and for Barcelona was so engaging. So many samples to try and a wide area of the city covered in our tour. A must for anyone, foodie or not, when visiting Barcelona!

A superb and insightful tour with Alex. Starting at the market, we learnt so much about the Iberian food culture and got to sample plenty of delicious bites as well as visiting shops and restaurants around a wide area of the city. A wonderfully educational and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

We usually try to take a food tour in most places that we visit. This one, led by Alex, was exceptional. Alex provided an outstanding blend of knowledge about the food, local culture, and food-culture (meal times, portions, food origins) all with a great sense of humor and wit. His ability to warmly engage with a group of strangers really enhanced the tour. This was one of our most memorable experiences in Barcelona.

We had this tour under the guide of Alexandra and honestly it was one of the best things we did duri g our staying in Barcelona.
Food was amazing, all the stops were selected with care and for every food there was a story to go go with.
The knowledge of the city and culture our guide had made our tour superlative. Really happy despite the rain!
Thanks!
Alessandra and Antón

Bene was an excellent tour guide and because it was a rainy day the other participants could not make it so it essentially became a private tour ?
Alexandra the guide is simply outstanding. Her knowledge of Barcelona's food scene — from the market stalls to the stories behind each product — is impressive, but what really sets her apart is her ability to transmit that passion to the group. She made every stop feel meaningful, not just delicious. Enthusiastic, well-prepared, and genuinely engaging. Highly recommended.
Discover how Barcelona’s history and its food go hand-in-hand as you explore the backstreets of the Gothic Quarter and dine at its few remaining authentic tapas bars.
