This was a great tour! In October, Salem is pretty crowded but Alex made sure that the whole group knew where we were meeting and made sure everyone was there and ready at each stop. Alex clearly loves her job - she was enthusiastic sharing the history of Salem with us! It didn’t sound rehearsed and kept all four of my group interested the entire time. It is a very comprehensive tour and you learn a lot about the history of Salem, not just the Witch trials. She’s well spoken and does a great job of sharing all the information and doesn’t make light of what happened here while also sharing pop culture anecdotes - she covered EVERYTHING without it dragging on or getting boring. Overall really enjoyed but do beware it’s crowded in October if you don’t like that! And wear layers it gets hot and cold depending if you’re in the shade or not.

We had a great time despite the rainy weather. I think the tour is great but if you want more time in Salem and you still want to do the tour you can take the train back instead of the ferry, it will cost a little bit more but worth it. We felt rushed after the tour to have time to eat lunch and shop then run to the ferry. If I did it again I would just take the train or ferry over with no tour and spend the day then come back on the train.

Elizabeth our tour guide went above & beyond for us, she was very informative answering all types of questions about the history of Salem, advised us where to go for lunch, took photos of us, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Salem made some wonderful memories

The ferry was a nice ride to Salem but unfortunately there was bad weather so they canceled the ferry back to Boston but instead we took the commuter train, our guide was helpful with directions to the train and ferry. Our Guide Elizabeth was very knowledgeable about the Salem Witch Trials and history of Salem. Definitely bring comfortable shoes and some water! She gave some good lunch suggestions but since we went to Salem previously we had lunch at The Tavern at The Hawthorne Hotel. I would definitely do this tour again with family. Good tour for older children.

Elizabeth, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Salem and the witch trials. She also made sure we knew of good options for food and shopping for our free time after the tour (it was a very busy with large crowds). We were grateful to have had such a caring, organized guide!

Pro’s: Elizabeth was excellent! Very knowledgeable. Went above and beyond to answer everyone’s questions and meet everyone’s needs. Con’s: would have preferred to go through the Pirate museum all together while we were in the area, rather than at the end of the tour having to back track.
