My parents (ages 79 &80) and I joined the Oltrarno at Sunset: Florence Food & Wine Tour in July, 2024. It was an incredible way to see the less tourist filled neighborhoods, meet great people and enjoy delicious local food. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Florence and shared it in a relaxed, friendly manner. You could feel her love for Florence. The group easily accommodated my parent’s slower pace. I highly recommend Devour food tours a look forward to the next city.

Really fun tour. We had a great group of people. Great food and lovely people. The tour guide was super knowledgable and fun. We loved visiting the local establishments and learning about food history. We highly recommend this tour!! I am gluten-free and I was provided w/great alternatives at each stop. My 20 year old son has severe nut allergies and he was also accommodated w/the exception of gelato which would have been very difficult to accommodate and we assumed this going in. I do wish they would have had an option at the final dinner for the Italian rare steak on the bone-I forget what it is called. Guide said some places over a thinly sliced version that can be cooked more, I would have tried that, but I just could not get myself to eat the pile of nearly raw meat. However, my husband and son loved it! :) Amazing evening - highly recommend!

Can I use a wheelchair on this tour?

Yes, but we require advance notice in order to accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. After booking, please contact us so that we can organize a private tour for you. If we cannot find a guide to lead you that day we'll offer you the same tour on the next available date or give you credit for another tour anywhere else in the world.

What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?

Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.

Will my tour run in the order that is described?

Please note that this description is an example and stops or tastes may vary depending on the season, day of the week, and group size. Regardless of where your tour goes, you always have a delicious experience.

Does this tour accommodate vegetarians & people with food allergies?
