This is the second time I have done this food tour. The first was with my father years ago and this time was with a friend and it was still just as fabulous as the first time. Our guide Mara was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks we tried and as a history teacher, I loved learning about the history behind the items. The food and drinks were all delicious and this was well worth the price!

We did a food and wine tour in Florence, Italy with Mara, and it was fabulous!! The wine was great, the food was great, and our guide was the best!! She was so informative. We learned so much about the wine and food culture in Italy, and she gave us awesome tips for our time in Florence. She was fun and made the whole evening a blast! I highly recommend this tour - and specifically Mara!

This was a wonderful tour! Our tour guide was very friendly and he made a point to learn our names. The food was very good and the tour to each restaurant was enjoyable as we were told the history of the location as we walked. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys tasting new foods and learning about the community in which they’re visiting.

We had a wonderful experience on this Florence food tour! Paolo was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history of Florence and its food culture. He took us to a traditional wine window, explained the fascinating history behind it, and shared so many interesting details about local food traditions.<br /><br />The tour was well paced, and Palao also gave us fantastic food recommendations for the rest of our trip. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does and wants everyone to have a great experience. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Florence!

Can I use a wheelchair on this tour?
Yes, but we require advance notice in order to accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. After booking, please contact us so that we can organize a private tour for you. If we cannot find a guide to lead you that day we'll offer you the same tour on the next available date or give you credit for another tour anywhere else in the world.
Does this tour accommodate vegetarians & people with food allergies?
Yes, but please contact our customer service team after you book ([email protected]) so that your guide will be aware on the day of the tour. Also, not all of the tastings on the tour can be substituted for others, but we will do our very best to make sure that you always have something to eat.
Will my tour run in the order that is described?

What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
