Mara was a great tour guide with plenty of energy and lots of information on the history of the Oltrarno area of Florence and the food we were sampling. The drinks and the food we sampled were excellent and it’s a great way to get to know an area of Florence.

Our experience was very good- enjoyable . I did see a man get served a bone with no meat on it at the steak resturant and the tour guide and restaurant offered nothing- I couldn’t believe what I witnessed

Great walking tour. Highly recommend. Lorenzo was knowledgeable. This tour is much more than food (although food and drinks were great).. it was about culture and building community; not just learning about the “local” side of Florence- but building community with our tour family. A MUST do. 10/10!

Can I use a wheelchair on this tour?

Yes, but we require advance notice in order to accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. After booking, please contact us so that we can organize a private tour for you. If we cannot find a guide to lead you that day we'll offer you the same tour on the next available date or give you credit for another tour anywhere else in the world.

Does this tour accommodate vegetarians & people with food allergies?

Yes, but please contact our customer service team after you book ([email protected]) so that your guide will be aware on the day of the tour. Also, not all of the tastings on the tour can be substituted for others, but we will do our very best to make sure that you always have something to eat.

What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?

Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.

Will my tour run in the order that is described?
