An Unforgettable Day in the Heart of Tuscany<br />I recently joined the Tuscany Day Trip from Florence with Chianti, Siena & San Gimignano, including lunch and wine tasting. It was one of the highlights of our Italy vacation.<br />Our guide Francesca was outstanding — knowledgeable, passionate, and warm. She brought Siena and San Gimignano to life with enthusiasm and a lovely personal touch, making us feel like we were exploring with a friend. Her stories and anecdotes added real depth to the day.<br />Our driver Francesco was excellent too — safe, professional, and always smiling. Together, they made a fantastic team.<br />The itinerary was perfect: the medieval charm of San Gimignano with its towers, the historic beauty of Siena (Piazza del Campo and Duomo), and the rolling Chianti hills.<br />The absolute highlight was lunch at Poggio Amorelli farm. The idyllic setting, delicious three-course Tuscan meal, and ample wine tasting (with generous pours of excellent wines, plus olive oil) felt like being welcomed into a family home. Everything was fresh, abundant, and full of flavor — we left happily full and content!<br />This tour perfectly balanced sightseeing, culture, and indulgence. Great tour! We had an amazing time getting to know San Gimignano, Sienna, and great food with wine tasting in Chianti. Be prepared to spend some money after on wines. We are having wines, olive oil and balsamic vinegar shipped to the US.

We learned so much from Francesca over the course of the day. She answered every question, was extremely accommodating of needs for the group, and helped acclimate us to Florentine culture. The driver was very nice as well, and we really enjoyed the trip through the countryside

I had an excellent day exploring Tuscany on this tour. Francesca was a fantastic guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience very enjoyable. We visited beautiful places including Siena and San Gimignano, and the Chianti wine tasting was a highlight. The scenery throughout the day was stunning and everything was well organized. Francesca shared great stories and information about the region which made the trip even more interesting.<br /><br />I highly recommend this tour if you want to experience the beauty of Tuscany in one day. It was a memorable experience and definitely one of the highlights of my trip.

Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
No. Unfortunately, due to site restrictions we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. Guests should be prepared for a moderate level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods and climbing stairs, which may not be suitable for travelers with certain health conditions or mobility limitations.
What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
Can I bring my child's stroller on this tour?
Although the places we visit on this tour accomodate strollers we don't always have enough room in our transport vans to accomodate them. Please notify us after booking if you are traveling with an infant. Also contact us after booking if you require a car seat.
Does this tour accommodate vegetarians & people with food allergies?
Yes, but please contact our customer service team after you book ([email protected]) so that your guide will be aware on the day of the tour. Also, not all of the tastings on the tour can be substituted for others, but we will do our very best to make sure that you always have something to eat.
Can I take this tour if I use a wheelchair?
Unfortunately, our vehicles cannot accommodate wheelchairs and some of the sights, like the farm, are not wheelchair accessible.
Does this tour include lunch?
Yes! Please email us beforehand and let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies.
Does this tour go inside the Cathedral of Siena?
Tickets for inside the Cathedral are not included on this tour, however you will receive an introduction to the cathedral from outside. Your guide can assist in buying tickets if you wish to go inside the cathedral.
