Costanza was an amazing guide! We loved the skip the line entrance and special early access we got to the duomo cupola. We learned so much from Constanta. She was so fun and informative. We will recommend this to anyone we know coming to Florence!

Our guide Nebojsa Bogdanovic was outstanding . He was very personable and took an interest to get to know a little about everyone before the tour began . Then to the “David” with some commentary along the way about the area we were walking through once inside he took us to a couple of sections and explained the meanings of each art period and the masterpieces we were observing . For someone not very art inclined he spoke so passionately and in simple terms that it made me appreciate and learn things that will stay with me long after our visit. Once we were at David he gave us some background on Michelangelo and his works through time . David is amazing and pictures don’t do it justice you have to see it ! We then walked over to the Baptistery and Duomo area , with commentary and information along the way and entered the cathedral for the climb to the terrace and for the true adventurers to the top of the duomo . Quite the climb up but if you make it to the top the views are amazing . We’ve been on many tours and Nebosja is at the top of our list for guides who love and are passionate about their profession and communicate that and incredible information to their guests . Thank you Nebosja for some wonderful memories !

We really enjoyed the VIP David and Duomo tour. Put tour guide, Matt, was interesting and engaging. We were able to see David without waiting in the long line. Matt explained things that we woulddn't have known otherwise and allowed time for photos. We then went to the Florence Duomo. We got to see the inside and then climed to the Terrace. The tour ended on the terrace and anyone who was interested in climbing to the top of the Duomo could do so at that point. The views from the top were breathtaking and well worth the climb!

Yes. The Florence Duomo is a holy place and as such, you are expected to wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees when you enter.
Does the Florence Duomo ever close unexpectedly?
The Cathedral of Florence occasionally closes for special celebrations/festivities, including Easter ceremonies. If this occurs during your visit, we will run an alternative itinerary that includes an explanation of the Cathedral from the outside and extra highlights of the city center. We are unable to provide refunds or discounts if the Cathedral closes unexpectedly.

Is the Dome Climb accessible to people with limited mobility?
There are 463 steps to the top of the Florence Duomo and no elevator. Also, the staircase and is narrow and, in the summer, pretty hot. We don't recommend it for the elderly, people with limitations on their mobility, or anyone with claustrophobia.
