Fabulous tour. Antonio is a very friendly, passionate and knowledgeable guide. Seeing David whilst there were few people in the gallery is an exceptional experience. Loved the whole tour and highly recommend .

Angelo was awesome. Kept the information fun while also providing a great level of detail. The content of the tour (David and the Duomo) is awesome no matter what, but Angelo really heightened the experience.

Great
During tour of Accedamia we spent too much time sitting and listening to the guide tell us about the Medicis (over an hour?). But we could have listened while we walked around and looked at things instead of just sitting there like a class group. We only really saw the David statue and nothing else at the Accedamia. I would have liked to see a few more things there. The Duomo tour section and climb was excellent.

I highly recommend this tour. It was informative and the view from the top of the Duomo was amazing. Walking by all of the people in line straight to the interior of the cathedral was so worth the cost of the tour. Our guide, Sara, was incredible. She was so passionate about what she was showing us and it made the tour that much more meaningful.

Can I bring my bag into Florence Duomo?
Larger backpacks are not allowed inside Florence Duomo. Please make sure to only bring small handbags on this tour.
Does the Florence Duomo have a dress code?
Yes. The Florence Duomo is a holy place and as such, you are expected to wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees when you enter.
Does the Florence Duomo ever close unexpectedly?
The Cathedral of Florence occasionally closes for special celebrations/festivities, including Easter ceremonies. If this occurs during your visit, we will run an alternative itinerary that includes an explanation of the Cathedral from the outside and extra highlights of the city center. We are unable to provide refunds or discounts if the Cathedral closes unexpectedly.

Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
Is the Dome Climb accessible to people with limited mobility?
There are 463 steps to the top of the Florence Duomo and no elevator. Also, the staircase and is narrow and, in the summer, pretty hot. We don't recommend it for the elderly, people with limitations on their mobility, or anyone with claustrophobia.
Do I need to bring my ID with me on this tour?
Yes! This is especially important if you have purchased a student ticket because the museums will check when we arrive.
Skip long lines to see David at the Accademia, marvel at the finest Renaissance pieces in the Uffizi, then take to the streets to explore the best of Florence with a local!
