We were with guide Linda who took us in the nook and corners of central London to give a peak of the real life in the historical city. It was great and her knowledge was very good as well. Over all we had a good time but one big omission was the horse guard - we were hoping to watch that as per the description of the activity but this was not there. Also the city cruise for moving to Tower of London pier was just about ok. It was a long wait in hot sun for a not that great boat.

This was an excellent tour. The day was packed, but our guide Patrick made the experience amazing! We had a break for lunch and Patrick made wonderful lunch recommendations, and when we were out and about, Patrick filled the time with engaging conversation and fun facts. Hands down, one of the best guides we've ever had for a tour!

Emanula was fantastic and she had great knowledge. It is a lot of walking, but worth it. You get to see all the main points of London.

This tour was amazing! Godfrey (our tour guide) was really good! He was very knowledgeable, prompt and easy to understand. He saved us a lot of queue time as he knew when to go to the attractions as they were less busy! Would definitely recommend!

We took the London in a Day tour and had an amazing experience—thanks to our guide, Linda. She was outstanding! Linda clearly loves what she does, and her passion, deep knowledge, and quick wit made the day both fun and educational. She brought the history of London to life and kept the group engaged the entire time. The tour was well-paced, informative, and incredibly enjoyable. I highly recommend it—and if you’re lucky enough to get Linda as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic day!

The tour guide was remarkable. He had forgotten more than I will ever know.
Recently cruised the Snake and Columbia Rivers on American Cruise Line's (ACL) "American Jazz." We have done several river cruises in Europe but have always wanted to take this "Lewis and Clark" cruise with ACL. Great trip! While neither the Snake nor the Columbia have castles or 12th century cathedrals dotting their shore lines, none of the European rivers can come close to the grandure and picturesqness of these two great American Rivers. The ship, "American Jazz" is built in the USA, all all of ACL's ships ar and has larger staterooms and as good ammenities as their European conuterparts. Ship and crew were were first class from the Captain down the chain to their deck hands. Food was plentiful, well prepared and well presented.
Wait staff could not have been more professional and friendly during the entire trip. Our 7 night cruise began in Clarkston, ID and finished just east of Portland, OR. Ports iPre-cruise package was a trip ina jet boat down the Snake River. Nearly 100 miles round trip it was a highlight of the trip. Nightly entertainment, different show every night, was always enjoyable. We particularly liked the daily enrichment classes. I am an American history buff and the young woman that presented the enrichment lessons did a great job discussing the history of the rivers and the various indigenous peoples, the geology and the Lewis and Clark expedition. Ports stops included Richland, WA, know for its role in the Manhatten Project during WWII. A little know piece of American histroy. Multnomah Falls, an easily accessible and spectacular waterfall that rivals any we have ever seen in Europe, Iceland or New Zeeland. Astoria, OR at the mouth of the pacific ocean is a fascinating town with a long maritime history. Bottom line is you do not have to take an international flight to enjoy a really great river cruise. We have booked three additional cruises with ACL and doubt that we will ever do any river crusing outside the US again. ACL is THAT good.
