Excellent

This was an excellent tour. The day was packed, but our guide Patrick made the experience amazing! We had a break for lunch and Patrick made wonderful lunch recommendations, and when we were out and about, Patrick filled the time with engaging conversation and fun facts. Hands down, one of the best guides we've ever had for a tour!

Emanula was fantastic and she had great knowledge. It is a lot of walking, but worth it. You get to see all the main points of London.

This tour was amazing! Godfrey (our tour guide) was really good! He was very knowledgeable, prompt and easy to understand. He saved us a lot of queue time as he knew when to go to the attractions as they were less busy! Would definitely recommend!

We took the London in a Day tour and had an amazing experience—thanks to our guide, Linda. She was outstanding! Linda clearly loves what she does, and her passion, deep knowledge, and quick wit made the day both fun and educational. She brought the history of London to life and kept the group engaged the entire time. The tour was well-paced, informative, and incredibly enjoyable. I highly recommend it—and if you’re lucky enough to get Linda as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic day!

Is the Guard Change ceremony happening the day of my tour?

Please note there is no Changing of the Guard ceremony on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. It may also be subject to cancellation at any time it's scheduled to happen during the week. In this event, you will get to see the Horse Guards Parade (an arguably more impressive ceremony!) and the Ceremony of the Word at the Tower of London.

Can I take pictures in Westminster Abbey?

No. You are not allowed to take any photos while inside the Abbey. If you want a picture of the interior, you have to buy a postcard in the gift shop.

Can I take a bag into Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, and the Tower of London?

Yes, but only small bags. Please note that for security reasons your bags will also be checked before you enter. Here is a list of prohibited items: Sharp items e.g. knives (including Swiss army knives) scissors, cutlery and screwdrivers Paint spray Padlocks, chains and climbing gear Items that make a noise (e.g. whistles) Banners, placards and flags Liquids that are not in sealable containers
