The tour was a Survey Course in History from 1066 to present day, done in a way that was respectful and also interesting. Our guide's manner was serious and was interspersed with anecdotes about the family life of the Kings and Queens on display. It was very evident that our guide had spent two years preparing for his job.

We’re so glad we booked a 3 hour guided tour of Westminster Abbey, including the Galleries, on our first full day in London. Rosie was an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide. Was a terrific tour! Highly recommend.
Walks always does a great job! I strongly recommend Walks to anyone traveling to be educated, entertained and enlightened! Our meeting place was easy to get to. The start of the tour was well managed.
It is important to note, Westminster is the Vatican of London - super crowded! A lot to see but the crowds and the push to keep moving makes that difficult. There were loads of lines to queue up in. The unexpected closing the day before and the afternoon of our tour made the lines extra-long and the lack of air movement unpleasant. We spent a good chunk of time waiting and doing head counts.
Having said that, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared insights that enhanced our experience. The Jubilee Room is well worth the 300 stairs and the view is not to be missed. I am glad we did the tour, but there are much more enjoyable things to do while in London.
