Jaime was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and engaging. We loved the pre-opening tour. It was almost like having the museum to ourselves! When the tour ended, we spent a couple more hours (good cafeteria on site!), but it was a very different experience with all the people. We would do this again!

Our guide Sean was amazing! He is completely fluent in both English and Spanish, which made it easy for our group of three English speakers and one bilingual English/Spanish speaker to fully understand what he was saying. The tour provided a detailed discussion of several famous works of art followed the opportunity to fully tour the rest of the museum independently at the end of the tour. Be advised, this not a two minute summary of 100 works of art, but rather a 5-10 minute discussion at approximately 10 of the most well known pieces in the museum. This tour is definitely quality over quantity. We enjoyed the tour so much we immediately booked another tour with Sean at the Palace. In addition, entering the Prado at 9 am was worth every penny as we were literally the only group in the museum for about an hour (if there were other groups, I did not see them). Our group had about 10-12 people and we all received personal attention from the guide. Would definitely recommend this tour.
