VIP Alone in the Prado: Exclusive Early Access Museum Tour

My husband and I signed up for the tour- VIP Alone in the Prado: Exclusive Early Access Museum Tour and it was wonderful! The tour is led by an art historian and we were so lucky to have Jaime. On this tour you enter the musuem before the gates open and can view the masterpieces without crowds. It was clear that Jaime had an advanced knowledge of the museum and his tour was well-curated combining Spanish (and European) history and art. Since this tour includes a ticket to the Prado, you are free to wander through the museum at the conclusion of the tour. Well worth the price- a special experience in the Prado.

This is a fantastic tour with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. She really made the paintings come alive. I especially enjoyed her presentations on Bosch and Goya. Also you get the museum all to yourself for about a couple hours. Highly recommended!

Great morning at Prado We had a wonderful guide Isabella, who was very knowledgeable, engaging and made it interesting even for the teens. Seeing Prado before it opens its doors is very special.

Prado Early Entry - A very good experience. Daniel was informative with a nice personality. The ore opening access is a great way to see the Prado’s greatest hits in an empty museum.

Incredible experience of art and history - to be the only ones in one of the most famous art museums in the world. Alfonso was an amazing tour guide that brought the art and history to life. If you have any interest in art this is an experience not to be missed in Madrid!

Alone with the Masters This was an outstanding experience. We had a very small group, total of 8 people. We got to enter the Prado before anyone else and spend time by ourselves with works by Goya, Velazquez, Bosch, Rembrandt and Rubens. It’s hard to put into words just how moving these works of art are—especially when you don’t have to battle the crowds to get an up close view. Our guide did an excellent job explaining the significance and history of each piece along with the history of the Prado itself. She had a real passion for art and incredible enthusiasm. Highly recommend taking this tour. We stayed after the tour was done to see some other masterpieces that weren’t covered and by the time we left the place was a mad house. So, so, so worth it.
