We have booked with Take Walks/ Walks of Italy many times. The guides are always very educated professionals that truly know the information and are passionate about it. Our guide for both of our tours, Daniel, was exceptional. Incredibly knowledgeable. He was also so funny and a wonderful person. Of all of our many guides we have had with Take Walks, he is the best we’ve had.

Cecile was very knowledgeable about the history of Paris and also very entertaining. She kept our group together and explained protocol on the Metro.

Sam, our tour guide, did an amazing job at leading our group of 16! She gave us a lot of historical information, and helpful tips about Paris (even threw in some foodie tips). She did a super job at keeping our group informed and together in very busy tourist spots! We would highly recommend this tour! It was a great first introduction to Paris! We are so happy to be experiencing the beauty of France!

Sam was AMAZING! I don't know what the odds are you get her but I hope they are in your favor!!
Punchline: Sam is patient, accommodating, aware (it's a lot of walking), and multilingual! What makes this tour unique is the headsets! Everyone gets to have an equal experience regardless of where you are in the group. FWIW the headsets had good range and quality. Nearly all of us were Paris first timers and we got a crash course in being parisians (metro, navigation, and traffic/city rhythm)
What could be improved: Some object to find Sam in a crowd. Sometimes group members lost Sam (not her fault) so time was wasted trying to regroup but having the headphones made it easy.

It was a great day and worth the money! A lot of walking, stairs and metro rides but not very strenuous. (16,000 steps) Guide was very personal, kept us together and informative.

What a great way to see Paris while getting your steps up. Put on your good walking shoes and prepare to see the top 4 sites from a different perspective and a little off the beaten path. All enjoyed with a great narrative of the history and what the Parisians really think of these structures. Light and enjoyable and very entertaining.

We would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is interested in the history of the Jewish quarter. The tour was highly informative, and the guide was excellent. We would highly recommend him in the tour to other visitors to the Jewish quarter.

Felix was a fantastic guide! Very friendly and vastly knowledgeable; he made the tour a success. A day of treasures and exploring, exceeded our expectations. Would recommend this tour to any first timers and be prepared for a lot of walking which also added charm and perspective to the day. Thank you, Felix.
