The best part of the tour was our guide, Emily! It was great to have an expat for a guide, I think that brings her insight and relatability to our mostly American group. Her knowledge of Paris, its history, and Parisian food culture was impressive and I could tell it was a genuine passion. We tasted some traditional French foods, some traditional with a twist, and some tastes brought in by the non-French arrivals, both newer and long standing. Will do this tour again when I come back!

Sam is an extraordinary guide: experienced, professional and friendly. We had been part of a Devour tour in Madrid three years ago, so booking this one in Paris was a no-brainer. Devour works hard to identify and cultivate local chefs and craftspeople who create the best and most iconic dishes, then personalize a visit with great guides like Sam. This was the highlight of our trip.
