Our guide was very friendly and thorough in explaining what we were seeing. I gained a much better understanding of how the Pompeians lives their day to day lives.

Excellent

Wonderful walking tour of Pompeii! Ilaria was a fabulous and super knowledgeable guide. She really made the history come to life. I would absolutely recommend it. Make sure to use the bathroom beforehand and bring a water bottle and sun protection.

Excellent tour guide, a local man (sorry didn’t get his name) extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Pompeii the headphones were very good so if you stopped to look at something you didn’t miss anything and were able to catch up. On completion of the guided tour you are left to carry on with out the guide . 5 stars for me!

Excellent

We had a great tour with Sonia as our guide to the amazing archaeological site of Pompeii. We spent three hours as Sonia took us through the site given a full and detailed explanations of what we saw including the forum and the different houses and villas. She demonstrated an in depth knowledge of the history of Pompeii and how people lived there in the Ist century AD. Would thoroughly recommend the tour and Sonia.

FAQs

What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?

Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.

Is Pompeii accessible to people in wheelchairs?

The streets of Pompeii have never been repaved or smoothed over so much of the city is nearly impossible to navigate for those with mobility impairments. If you use a wheelchair there is a special route for you, so please contact our customer service department for details.

Can I bring a bag into Pompeii with me?

Only small bags are allowed into Pompeii. Larger bags or backpacks will have to be left in the luggage lockers in the train station. Tripods are also not allowed.
