Complete Pompeii Experience: Skip the Line Tour & Archaeologist Guide

Francesca was our guide and she did a great job. She was very knowledgeable, an excellent communicator and always answered extra questions fully.

Our tour was led by a very knowledgeable guide. We had a great time; our guide answered everyone's questions thoroughly, she imparted good information and made sure everyone had time to absorb the beautiful surroundings.

Tour was amazing. Sonia met us on time and was very attentive to the group thoughout. Extremely knowledgeable about the site and made the whole tour interesting and easy to follow. Would definitely recommend both Sonia and Viator to friends and family.

Easy to find tour group at the entrance of the Pompeii ruins. Had a small group with knowledgeable guide Enzo who is also an archaeologist. He is very passionate about the history and allowed us to envision the history of Pompeii. Though slightly longer tour, we were able to see main points of the park except for the Amphitheater. I would return just to spend more time exploring.

Initially hard to find group leader. The person needs to hold up a large sign. Once we found her, she had us on her list and then we got together with our guide.

Our guide was very friendly and thorough in explaining what we were seeing. I gained a much better understanding of how the Pompeians lives their day to day lives.

Wonderful walking tour of Pompeii! Ilaria was a fabulous and super knowledgeable guide. She really made the history come to life. I would absolutely recommend it. Make sure to use the bathroom beforehand and bring a water bottle and sun protection.

We had a great tour with Sonia as our guide to the amazing archaeological site of Pompeii. We spent three hours as Sonia took us through the site given a full and detailed explanations of what we saw including the forum and the different houses and villas. She demonstrated an in depth knowledge of the history of Pompeii and how people lived there in the Ist century AD. Would thoroughly recommend the tour and Sonia.
