Great
This was an excellent full day tour and exactly as described. We were very satisfied with our day. However, it was stressful trying to find the location for meeting departing from Rome. I had phoned ahead of time and was told that we would see the storefront inside the train station. Unfortunately there was construction and scaffolding which apparently covered the storefront resulting in us wandering the terminal trying to figure out where the meeting point was. Thankfully I noticed somebody with the tour company logo sticker on their shirt and we connected.

Chiara our tour guide was phenomenal. So knowledgeable and amazing to myself and my family. She cares about what our interests were and about our journey. The tour itself was worth every penny. A must see. The Almafitana coast. Would highly recommend. Grazie da cuore.

I highly recommend this tour with Walks because it was so well planned and coordinated. A full day of travel and well worth it if one wants to get out of Rome for a day trip. Our guide, Federico was the best guide (communications, historical details, kindness, etc.) we experienced out of all our guided tours in Paris and Rome. Federico was very well organized and explained everything we needed to know in a clear manner. The train from Rome to Naples took us through the countryside and we barely noticed the time. Once in Salerno, the large, comfortable, well-staffed boat whisked us away to our stops in Amalfi and Positano. We had enough time to see some sights and shop and eat. You can't beat the value of this well-organized, guided tour. Steve

This was the best tour I’ve book in Italy!! The guide (Federico) was amazing and the experience was perfect. Best way to see the Amalfi coast since you skip all the traffic! The train ride isn’t that long compared to going by car(I’ve tried!!). Then by boat you can enjoy a magnificent view of the coast ?

FAQs

What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
What if the sea is very rough on the day of the tour?
If sea conditions don't permit comfortable boating, you will move between towns in a private, air-conditioned transport car/van.
If I bring a swimming suit can I go for a dip in the sea?
Yes! Although be aware that there is not always a lifeguard on duty in the areas you might want to swim so you will be getting in the water at your own risk.
How difficult is it to reach the lemon grove for the limoncello tasting?
There are aproximately 180-200 steps to climb in order to reach the lemon farm (you can opt for free time in Amalfi town instead). If weather conditions don't permit the visit, we will do a limoncello tasting in Amalfi Town instead.
Is lunch included?
No. Your guide will give you a few great recommendations for lunch spots and give you plenty of time, but where and what you eat is up to you.
Is it free to swim on this trip?
Yes! The beach is public but the changing facilities cost 50 cents to use.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
No. Unfortunately, due to site restrictions we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. If you use a wheelchair and book this tour by accident, we are happy to offer you credit for a future tour that is wheelchair accessible anywhere in the world, or a full refund.
