The Amalfi Coast and Positano with "walks city experiences" was fantastic! Our guide was great and engaging. The tour was well-organized with a great mix of activities and free time. The Highlights of the trip was the breathtaking view boat ride, the visit to the lemon farm and enjoying the Positano beaches and the Amalfi delicious local cuisine. The company ensured our comfort and promptly handled all logistics. most importantly Is that this day trip allowed us to fit a visit to these stunning locations into our short holiday in italy. I highly recommend "walks city experiences" for an unforgettable experience of the Amalfi and Positano

This adventure was truly exceptional! We left at 8.30 by train from Rome Termini railway station and in an hour and a half we were in Salerno. Then, from Salerno we took a ferry that took us to Amalfi. Amalfi is gorgeous! There, as soon as we arrived, the guides accompanied us to a farm that produces lemons and offered us water and lemon to quench our thirst and also a delicious Limoncello. After that, we had some free time and went, together with my friends, to lunch at a restaurant overlooking the beach. I ate really well! Then, at 2.00 pm we took another ferry that took us to Positano and there we went to the beach. The beach was really beautiful, crystal clear water! At 5.00 pm we took the ferry again to return to Salerno and from there we then took the train again to return to Rome. All this to say that it was a fantastic day, full of sea, sun, good food and fun. Everything super organized and really nice guides. Definitely an experience to do again!

FAQs

What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
No. Unfortunately, due to site restrictions we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. If you use a wheelchair and book this tour by accident, we are happy to offer you credit for a future tour that is wheelchair accessible anywhere in the world, or a full refund.
What if the sea is very rough on the day of the tour?
If sea conditions don't permit comfortable boating, you will move between towns in a private, air-conditioned transport car/van.
If I bring a swimming suit can I go for a dip in the sea?
Yes! Although be aware that there is not always a lifeguard on duty in the areas you might want to swim so you will be getting in the water at your own risk.
How difficult is it to reach the lemon grove for the limoncello tasting?
There are aproximately 180-200 steps to climb in order to reach the lemon farm (you can opt for free time in Amalfi town instead). If weather conditions don't permit the visit, we will do a limoncello tasting in Amalfi Town instead.
Is lunch included?
No. Your guide will give you a few great recommendations for lunch spots and give you plenty of time, but where and what you eat is up to you.
Is it free to swim on this trip?
Yes! The beach is public but the changing facilities cost 50 cents to use.
