This experience is dedicated to teaching you how to bring a bit of Italy into your own home; from making and rolling your own pasta to choosing the right shape for the right ragu, and why the best pasta dishes are often the most simple.

You'll start the evening with a prosecco and canapé reception on a rooftop terrace in central Rome, getting to know your fellow chefs (maximum 12 people per group). Then, with a local chef for a tutor, you'll make two separate types of pasta from scratch; one spaghetti with the famous tomato-based amatriciana and the other a deliciously light stuffed ravioli. As you work, your teacher will pass on those precious tips passed down through generations of Italian families, about getting the most flavor from your ingredients and making sure your pasta is always smooth and perfectly-cooked.

Once everything is ready, you'll pop a few more bottles of wine and sit down with the rest of the group to enjoy your dinner. Like any good Italian meal, you'll have all the time you want to eat and chat, then finish it up with a dessert and digestif prepared by your teacher.

This was an amazing experience! Laura and Marco were friendly, knowledgable and bonus - made this so fun!

My boyfriend and I signed up for this workshop a couple of days before the event itself. The online booking was quick and easy and the e-mail with more details was the same. It wasn't that far walking from the meeting point to the location of the workshop, so that was nice. Our group originally started with a total of 6, but 1 couple decided not to join last minute and we were left with 2 couples (4 persons). The size of the group was great, even though the other couple could've fit just as fine. Our chef/teacher was very nice and welcoming, good at explaining, interested in us/his pupils, and just great in general. We found it too bad that he didn't come eat with all of us, though. But then again, maybe he teaches this workshop everyday, so he's probably sick of eating the same pasta every day. #haha
