Great ocean ride and amazing view along the way. Positano was crowded at the time but that’s part of the fun. Great history telling and experience at Pompeii by our knowledgeable guide who is also an Archaeologist.

What a great way to sample the Amalfi Coast and visit Pompeii in a day! My family didn’t have time to spend the night on the Amalfi Coast, so we were delighted this option existed! It was exactly what we needed. Our guide for the day, Gianmaria, and our Pompeii guide, Brunella, were excellent. True professionals and they clearly cared to make sure we had a fantastic day. Our driver was excellent at navigating the winding roads of the Amalfi Coast and made us feel safe (no small feat)! Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful day with Gianmaria visiting the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii from Rome. He was a wealth of knowledge. <br />Great vehicle (small Mercedes coach) made a long day comfortable with our great bus driver. <br />And a special call out to the Pompeii tour guide. Her historical knowledge was as amazing as Pompeii was. <br />ps. Try not go to Amalfi on a weekend as it was crazily busy with everyone there at same time.

Which town on the Amalfi Coast will I visit?
Most of the year, you'll visit Positano. In the low season (November through late March), most of the businesses in Positano town close, making the town rather uneventful to visit. During this time, we will visit Sorrento instead, where you'll have plenty of options for lunch and shopping.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
No. Unfortunately, due to site restrictions we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. Guests should be prepared for a moderate level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods and climbing stairs, which may not be suitable for travelers with certain health conditions or mobility limitations.
Is there free time in Positano or Sorrento?
Absolutely. You’ll enjoy up to two hours to wander, eat, shop, or simply soak in the scenery.
What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
How long is the tour?
9 AM tour (includes entry to Westminster Abbey): 8 hours
Later tour times (view Westminster Abbey from the outside): 6.5 hours
Do I need to bring my ID for my Pompeii tour?
Yes! The full names of all participants must be provided at the time of booking and match the names on their ID/passport. Name changes are not permitted. All guests (including children) must bring a government-issued ID/passport on the day of their tour. Failure to bring an ID may result in security staff denying entrance to the monument.
Can I use this tour as a transfer to the Amalfi Coast?
Unfortunately our transport vans do not have enough space to accommodate luggage so it's not possible to use this tour as a transfer to towns on the Amalfi Coast from Rome.
Is lunch included?
No. Your guide will give you a few great recommendations for lunch spots and give you plenty of time, but where and what you eat is up to you.
Is Pompeii accessible to people in wheelchairs?
The streets of Pompeii have never been repaved or smoothed over so much of the city is nearly impossible to navigate for those with mobility impairments. If you use a wheelchair there is a special route for you, so please contact our customer service department for details.
Can I bring a bag with me into Pompeii?
Small bags and purses are allowed inside Pompeii.
