Pompeii Tour from Rome with Amalfi Coast Drive

This was a well-run tour company with great driver and guide<br />The Mercedes van was a comfortable and group was small. It feels a little rushed im Pompeii even though it was a small group.<br /> We could not take our time to look very long before they moved very quickly. I think to go to this archeological site in high season would be very uncomfortable with crowds and heat. There are no bathrooms or water inside.<br />Chiara was very knowledgeable about the history of Rome /Italy and the areas that we drove to. Her recommendations were excellent!

Chiara was our guide for a fantastic day to Pompeii and Sorrento. She told us lots of info about Rome, Italy, food, customs etc which was very interesting. In Pompeii we had a specialist guide who was excellent. The drive along the coast to Sorrento on a sunny off-season day was stunning. Loved it all.

My parents and I had a great day! The check in was clear and we met our guide, who brought us over to the bus. The bus driver was always right there for us throughout the day when we were making our way from place to place. We had a fantastic tour at Pompeii, with an amazing tour guide. Unforgettable! We had a nice visit in Sorrento and all the while learning great history and facts from our tour guide for the day!

This tour was a very long day. It's quite a drive to Pompeii. As the Pompeii part of the day, it was a little rushed. Their were times when you wanted to spend a little more time with art or looking at the ruins. But, we had to move to get back to the bus for the trip to Sorrento. You are only in Sorrento for 2 hours. Not really enough time to see anything and you have to fit in your lunch.<br />For me, you could skip the trip to Sorrento and give us free time in Pompeii after the tour.<br />Both guides, tour and Pompeii, we're very good and kept us very well informed. The bus driver was absolutely lovely.<br />Final thought, make it trip to Pompeii, that includes a tour and then gives you time to roam about. <br />This would also cut down the total time from 12 hours to around 9

Excellent experience!! Aurelio was fabulous!! You can tell he enjoys what he does and takes great care of all his passengers. He recommended a great restaurant for lunch with gorgeous views that were breathtaking!! The tour was very well organized with bathroom breaks, eating, very clean van, small group. Very impressed!! Would highly recommend!!

Pompeii was so interesting. Our tour guide hit the highlights in a huge city. <br />Throughout the day our tour guide had interesting facts about the area and a great restaurant for lunch.

pompeii (the main event) was incredible. sorrento/amalfi coast was a bit of a tourist trap, albeit beautiful and not something i would recommend. our guide, aurelio, was helpful and patient.

Our Walks Tour to Pompeii and Amalfi was the highlight of our stay in Rome. The standout were our guides who joined us for the day. Andy, who accompanied us from Rome, was wonderful company who had great knowledge of the areas visited. Our guide for the ruins of Pompeii, Enzo, was outstanding! His knowledge of Pompeii’s history and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. Despite a big day, the tour is 100% worth it. I would highly recommend this experience to others. We would definitely book with Walks again.
